By selling its uniquely pearlescent handbags and accessories almost exclusively at home parties, Beijo has grown from a one-woman operation to a network of some 1,200 independent sales reps in just over four years. And although the home based parties will always remain Beijo’s core business, a new line of handbags—the Beijo® by Susan Handley Signature Collection—has recently been launched in a licensing partnership with Department 56® for distribution through selected retail gift and specialty stores. Susan and her designs have been featured on TV shows like “Extra,” “Entertainment Tonight” and “The Tyra Banks Show,” and in magazines including US Weekly, Entrepreneur and Working Mother. |
