Across the Board™ is a coming-of-age entertainment property set amidst the divergent cultures of a Southern California beach community—surfers, boarders and bladers, jocks, political conservatives, and liberal bohemians. Inspired by the childhood experiences of renowned graphic artist Roy Gonzalez, the stories are equal parts “The Simpsons,”“Peanuts,” “Our Gang” and “That 70s Show,” and are an homage to classic high school movies like “Fast Times at Ridgemont High.”
